After a bitterly cold start to Term 3, Garden to Table is off to a great start. In the garden the focus is on growing your own lunch. Students are figuring out what can be grown, or is already growing during winter. This knowledge will be used for students to design what could be grown, and what should be purchased to create delicious and delectable recipes for their lunchboxes.
In the kitchen students are sharpening their knife skills. They are exploring recipes and the need to cut and slice vegetables and fruits in different ways, which will best suit each dish.
