As part of an Inquiry unit, students in the Kakano team have been researching the interesting concept of ‘What’s Beneath?’. They have been focusing on various topics; What’s beneath our skin, feet, ground and the sea.
The eager students in Room 21 went out into our school gardens to take a look at what actually lies beneath all the things that they can already see. They explored under the soil, amongst the leaves and even beneath some tree trunks, hoping to find some bugs
Some of the students wrote about their exciting experiences in the garden. Read on further to hear all about them…what an excellent effort Room 21!!

I like slaters. They are small and they are cute.
