Catherine Bell (a co-founder of the Garden to Table Trust) gives an interesting talk about Garden to Table’s effect and importance within New Zealand schools. She discusses the idea that today people are time poor and have become increasingly dependent on fast food and ready-made meals. She discusses how these fast meals have taken away from our connection to the garden and subsequently cooking skills. There are also a couple of photos in there from Edendale – pretty cool!
