Tuakana begins Garden to Table

As the end of autumn approaches and the red and golden hues fade, Edendale welcomes the change as Term Two begins and the Tuakana team starts Garden to Table. Students will be out in the crisp air experiencing the joys of winter which include planting seasonal vegetables like broccoli, beetroot, carrots and celeriac. 1. I was fortunate to see some of the Room 26 students enjoying the soup they made and the absolute delight when their scones came out of the oven. The smell of the ‘just-baked’ scones was amazing!!! They were asked to take them home as it was the end of the school day. Some students ate them before they left the school gates, as they could not wait until they got home. I bet the scones were delicious!!
