Garden to Table 2013

Welcome to Garden to Table 2013

This term Year 5 and 6 students are learning how to use water wisely in the garden as well as identifying seeds that can be saved for future use later on in other seasons. Students are also learning to identify pollutants in the garden and what adds to our carbon footprint in the garden.

In the kitchen students are making use of what they have grown in the garden to create delicious dishes such as flat bread, guacamole, basil and sunflower seed pesto, rainbow couscous and summer vegetable frittata.

  1. The summer vegetable frittata was absolutely delicious. I really enjoy visiting the kitchen and watching you create such wonderful dishes. Of course being able to sample them is the best part!!!!
